hey rhian, i wanted to say to you again that i really like your idea of the disney-fication of the UK, and the disney-fication of UK history: industries that have defined and built the country...you are just beginning...i encourage you to continue...imagine going back to these same places, and others, with more knowledge and awareness...i know you will make more, ever-better images. !! xo, antrim
thanks for the encouragement antrim. i'm still bumbling around with project ideas, there are so many things out there. but, this may be something i'll keep going back to as it does cover a few areas.
i look forward to seeing your work from a second visit to Big Pit...i know that going to wv repeatedly, now i have very particular shots i visualize before i arrive...there was a lot to learn, intellectually and visually - how to understand the context...but returning to a place, again and again to shoot is a luxury for an assignment photographer and esp. if getting there takes some time..
