museums

a few weeks back i went to see the wildlife photographer of the year (2008) exhibition at the natural history museum. the overall winning photograph reminded me of the taxidermy cabinets from a teashop in west wales. what made me write this post though was that all the work there was displayed on lightboxes, and after about 20 minutes a fuse went.  you couldn't see anything, just the titles and the photographers names. it made me think about the whole world of digital photography. how many of the images being captured now are real, physical, photographs and how many are just electricity. we could be in a whole new dark age.

...not even one room?

blazer design

i found this on a website for the company blazer design, they are a south london "planning and design company" and this is credited as lunar house. i was curious to find out if it really was, and when...
by coincidence the office address they give on the site is at the end of my street, so in the morning i may check it out, although the email address is no longer active.
